The Export button, which is located on the Export menu, will function
exactly as the Export command found under the File pull-down menu.
Using this command you will be able to setup custom parameters for datBUa export.

Before you are able to import data from version 2.0 into
version 3.0, you must follow those directions listed below:
1. Open a Pro Series version 2.0 database.

Relookup - Triggers a lookup based on the value in the current field. FileMaker Pro copies the new values from the lookup file into the current file. Use to update already looked-up values.
From time to time B
information located in one Pro Series database may change, for example, information located within the Address field of the Phone Directory database. Since other Pro Series databases, such as Customers and Vend
ors, use this information, via the Lookup Phone Directory ID field, you may wish to update these records automatically instead of manually having to retype such information. You can use the Relookup command fouD6nd under the Edit pull-down menu to perform this task.

This is done by selecting, tabbing to or clicking in, the Lookup Phone Directory ID field (for example the Lookup Phone Directory ID field found in the Customer or Vendor database).
Once this field is selectB
ed, choose the Relookup command from the Edit pull-down menu. The system will automatically lookup and retrieve all data based on the ID number found within that field.

Another time in which you will use this command is when you import data from version 2.0 into version 3.0.
Many Pro Series database applications retrieve information from the Pro Series Preferences database (B
pictures, icons and/or text). For example the Industry field, found within the Phone Directory, will automatically retrieve an icon from the Pro Series Preferences database.

e a field by tabbing to or clicking in it. In some cases a pop-up list may appear, this is normal. Select Relookup from the Edit pull-down menu to retrieve information based on that field.

applications you will find pop up list fields. When this
field type is selected, by tabbing to or clicking in it,

You may select any item from the list by using the
up and down arrow keys, the scroll bar or by typing the first few characters of a word or phrase found within the list.

United States. Clicking on a region will locate all records or
information pertaining to that region.
To restore your database to normal, use thB
